Bristle worm, good or bad

Good. They're basically cleaners that will eat fish poop, leftover food (don't overfeed!) and detritus. They don't win beauty pageants but they fill an important niche.

Absolutely. But when they get bigger, don't touch the brissles as they can give you a bit of a burn.
 
I'm so glad bristle worms are getting a better name. I love my bristle worms. If you don't go overboard feeding or neglecting your tank they aren't usually a problem. I have one in my puffer tank that comes out when I use tweezers to hold shrimp out front of his hole in my live rock.... Wow, I really need to get a life!!
