Brow fuzzy algae? ID plz?

My tank is about 4 months old now and this brown fuzzy algae is covering my entire tank.....the glass, the rocks, the filters... everything except the fish.

It tends to flurish in areas with low water flow and low light. especially under or around the base of rocks.

any help would be appreciated. thanks!

It looks like diatoms to me. The other thing you are asking about is a hydroid. They are pretty common in newer tanks and will probably die off over time.
