Clam ID Confirmation

I purchased this guy at my LFS and was told it was a Maxima. However, it doesn't look exactly like any Maxima photos I've seen on the web. Is there a clam guru out there that has any idea what this guy is for sure?

I wish I had the calm book I got from the library still. In the book "Giant Clams" it tells one sure fire way to identify a clam is from its shell.

The number of 'ripples' in its shell and if the shell can close fully or can not close fully will help identify the clam. I cant tell from the photo above.

Do you know how many ripples are on the shell of the clam?

That would be a great book to get. Do you remember the title?

The Clam has 5 ripples per half, and the shell does not close all the way.

Thank you for the help.

The definitive book about Tridacna clams is Giant Clams by Daniel knop.

I need to see the clams scutes and the hinge.
Place the clam on a rck and take a pic while it is closed, also take a pic of the underside of the clam.
