It's a neon candy cane coral, they're medium to fast growers depending on conditions and easy to keep. I bought a 3 headed frag leas than a year ago and now it has over 12.

Sometimes they are call trumpet coral aswell.
 
It kind of looks like it has two mouths starting, yours might be a branching type though, it seems to have a longer stock. But it's really too early to tell.
 
Yes, it looks like it's starting to split. They don't bud out new heads like Zoa polyps, but rather separate down the middle, fusing into two different heads. And once you get a few head they start to grow like crazy; 1 becomes 2, 2 becomes 4, 4 to 8, 16... you get the idea.
