hey y'all! I bought a bunch of stuff at my lfs and I saw this cool coral waving about and I asked about it and they just gave it to me. I wasn't gonna say no, but I have no clue what it is and what it requires. it's anchored itself to some live rock in my tank but I was wondering if anyone could tell me about it? the colors are screwy in photos, it's like the camera only picks up the blue LEDs not the white ones. it's a dull purple color in real life.

Pulsing xenia. They need a fair amount of light and they will grow pretty fast. It's a very good beginner coral.

perfect! that's exactly what I was looking for do i need to feed them anything?

Nope. Nobody has found that they actively eat anything. They are just photosynthetic.
