Trying to find out what kind of coral this is an what it's specific needs are.

First is Xenia or anthelia and should grow quickly given moderate to high flow. Second are zoanthids or palythoas. Medium light and low to moderate flow. They also should spread quickly

I think you're right lol. It looks like that now that I look closer. On first look it kinda looked like anthelia though whoops. Either way they both grow like weeds lol
 
Ya kenya tree will grow anywhere. Iv noticed that in high flow they thicken out more. Thick trunk/branches and in low flow they grow faster but the branches are longer And thinner. I personally prefer the higher flow but it depends on what you are looking for. When i got mine i had really poor lighting. It was an experiment. Had 1 t8 bulb. And it grew quickly even in that. So pretty much knock yourself out haha
