Coraline??

Alright so my tanks been up and running for about 5 weeks now and the live rock I put in had lots of purple coraline on it maybe 10lbs of 50lbs were covered. Now I'm noticing bright lime green all over my other rocks and doing some reading sources say this is how coraline starts or there's a lime green coraline. Any insight on the matter will be greatly appreciated.

That is probably the start of coralline. Can you scratch it off or is it hard to? If so then its coralline. Mine starts as little white dots that turn green then purple.

Yeah it's harder to scratch it off. That's good to know I have been scrapping it off my rock that is covered in it aily now in hopes to spread it a bit quicker. Seems to be working.
