Critter ID please!!

Found thus guy on my sand bed, thought it'd be a good idea to catch it incase it was harmful. What could it be? Looks like some form of shrimp, but i cant tell

Without a better picture I can't tell. I just see a blue blob.

Looks like a pom pom crab without the pom poms.

Do you have a specimen container you can put him in? Get a pic without all the blues on. White light.

It doesnt have the wide body of a crab, its nubby, has two tiny pincers on the front and two long antenae

I can't be 100% sure but that looks like a bumble bee shrimp (Gnathophyllum americanum) they only grow to about 1" ... It is peaceful but carnivorous.

Yeah it's hard to tell with all the blue light, if you could get a photo in white light, it would be easier to identify.
