Curious what this is on my LR.

Didn't exist, now exists.





Any ideas? They're brittle (assuming some type of tube worm?) They're not in a functioning tank.

The small guys are fairly harmless and are just filter feeders. It's the larger ones that can be destructive to sps corals as the webbing gets all over the skeleton and irritates it to death, though what isn't hit by the web is fine.

I have a ton in my aquarium they'll keep your tanks parameters stable but not by them selves I have other filter feeders they're completely harmless
