Hello, I have a fairly new reef tank and am quite new to the hobby too. I know diatom blooms are very common in the cycling stages and seeing as how this is only the second week, I'm almost positive thats what it is...could I get a verification on it though?? I have three pictures attached. It's all over my LR and substrate. I have a Cerith, an Astrea, and a Blue legged hermit. Will any of these eat the diatoms? If not, should I wait it out, or should I get an invert that will?? Thanks!!!

Looks to be diatoms. Just let it run its course once the silicates are gone it will go away. Normal part of starting a tank.
