Frogspawn poop?

Anyone know what this is long stringy thing that is coming out of my frogspawn?

It looks like it. Did it come off, or is it still there? Also, does it look like it is coming from the mouth.

Yes it came off. Not sure where the mouth is exactly but it was coming off under the tentacles. Never seen anything like that before on corals.
 
The mouth is dead center. Look at it at night. Did you physically see it come off.

Looks like it's expelling its zooxathellae. Does it seem like it's loosing its color/bleaching?
 
What color was it. It could be an extended tentical. They do this to sting other corals. Then before you know it, the retract it.

Expelling zooxanthellae, corals have a certain amount they can hold when the zooxanthellae numbers reach more than the coral can hold, the corals expel the extra. Zooxanthellae numbers grow through photosynthesis and good water parameters.
 
That is 100% poop. My hammer and frogspawn poo the same way . Nothing to worry about :)
