fuzzy spongy aliens???

does anyone know what these are? they gr0w on rocks mostly in shaded areas.They do not bother me but i want to know are they good or bad things?What the **** are they?Two months ago my sump was covered with them.I clean sump and throw them out,but now i see them in my tank.Please help me.I hope they are good.Thanks!!!!

They are sponges, commonly called q-tip sponges. They are harmless.
