Unfortunately they can be both, and there are tons of different species. Get as many pictures of it as you can and we'll try and find an id

What all is in the tank? Nudibranch look like what they eat...so, what in your tank is yellow?

Fiji yellow leather, and yellow polyps. He was more green. Looked like he had ruffles on his back.

I'd put money that he is interested in eating either the leather or the polyps. I would remove that nudibranch. Then do a coral dip on both corals, as there are always others and eggs.
