I'm not sure what it is yet. It could be a mini carpet. Does it have a skeleton? Either way, proper lighting and good parameters will be enough to sustain it. I would not be adding any food right now and trying to be through with the cycle. Perhaps some large water changes to lessen toxic levels would be a good idea.

I fed it.

Depending on the gorgorian, they can sometimes be tricky. Other times they are easy. Flow is pretty key with them, but from what I've read is that when there is recession they might not recover. It might need trimmed and secured again above the recession, but time will tell.

Awesome. Thank yall for the help. I think the gorgorian is starting to heal already. It was pretty tore up before i got it but it looks like it is growing "skin" over the edges. Do you think i can lean it on a rock and see if it will attach to it. Or do i need to just bite the bullet and wait. Can it regrow the lost tissue?

They don't attach as far as I have seen. You can use some 2 part epoxy or something to attach it. As for the moon brains, I wouldn't touch them against any other coral. The one i had put out sweepers.. Give them a few inches from other corals until you can be sure it's not able to sting them. Behold......

Thanks. I will keep my eyes on them. Some of them are turning green in the middle. Started as just 1, now there are 3. And my lettuce nudi's i caught seem to be starving. Any experience with those?
