Green worm-like things (pic)

These 3 green worm-like things are apparently some kind of plant or coral. I say this because they don't move. They are in focus but they have a sort of fuzz around them so that's why they look out of focus. They are about 1/4" tall.

Any ideas on what these are?

It's caterpillar weed. It's a calcarious algae.

Neomeris annulatis is the scientific name (or close, spelling is probably off)
