I just changed from maxi jets (a 1200 a 900 and a 400) To 2 koralia 3's the tank seems to have a lot more flow but it looks like I have grey algae on one of my live rocks that was purple. is this just stuffed that was kicked up by the extra flow or something I should worry about. The tank is 6 months old and has had no other changes. It does not look like the diatom bloom I had after my tank cycled that was brown. This is grey.

Hmmm, can you post a pic?
Is it possible that it is coreline that is starting to bleach??

I'll try to get a pic It might be too small for a pic but it is all over 1 rock. It waves with the flow like green algae. It is not hard like coraline. It showed up after I moved my rock around.....no reason to move, just playing god. It looks like green hair over my very purple coraline.

Thanks for the input but I just got mu t5ho's and the algae is definately green.
It is amazing what proper lighting does for a tank
