Help me I'd this "assorted wrasse"

I'm not sure what this fish is, but my wife brought it home for me yesterday. Looks like a fairy wrasse, but can't quite figure out what exactly. Any help is appreciated

I'll second the Mccosker. I have 2 and that looks just like the juvenile/female.

I have a LFS that sells "assorted wrasse" too and I love it when I catch a Mccosker in there for $30 while others who properly identify them sell for $40-$50. Sad thing is tho they usually aren't healthy..

Great fish to have...mine are very active and swim all over the tank plus when they flash it's pretty cool to watch them race all over

I have had a mccosckers in the past, however it must have been a terminal male because the finage was definitely way different. I do see little flashes time to time, but mostly in the dots that run down the fishes flank. As you can see, mine loves the marine grazer so hopefully one day soon he will be nice and fat like yours!
