Does it move around the tank like its alive? And is it in a dark part of the tank?

Hi. No, it does not move around, and the lighting situation does not seem to have an affect on where it is. It almost is like an algae of some sort, but it does not really seem like algae either! I'll post a few more photos!

Yes it does, it feels soft to the touch.

Yea I'm leaning towards a type of sponge. It shouldn't last long just means high nutrient water
