This little critter jumped off some gracilaria as I put it in the tank. It has mutliple legs, and seems to wave it's feelers up and down trying to catch stuff as it floats by. Any ideas as to what it is, please nothing bad :(

No idea either.. some kinda worm?
 
Searched the amphipod pics, and I think it might be "Corophium volutator" ?

"The tube dwelling amphipod Corophium volutator common on the mudflats of Bembridge Harbour"

i had one of them in my tank. he was running around the sand when the lights were on. very cool looking. he was not very big at all tho. he was maybe a 1/8 of an inch long or so.
