Hello, I have had this brown algae for some time now but it's starting to spread, it forms a leaf like structure but it's not slimy, I have a huge leather mushroom attached to this rock so throwing the rock away is not an option,

The second photo is what I think is coralline algae, it grows in a flat sheet structure and as you can see in the picture it's starting to grow off the rock, i have alot of coralline algae in my tank but what ever this is it's starting to grow over some of my corals? What can I do?

The last picture is a leather mushroom, not sure what type but this is 1 of 4 bits of the original frag I got last year, It just keeps growing, I need to frag some of these as my tank is getting over crowded,my question, if I cut it at the bottom or 1/3 up from the bottom would the part left on the rock recover? or would it die off and pollute my water?

My prams are good and well matured
Ca is a little low about 400
Kh is also a little low
Po4 is 0
Nh3 is under 1
No2 is 0
Nh3 is 0
Mg is about 1280
Ph is 8.2

Thanks for your time

The purple algae is good. Its coraline algae. The bad algae can be "killed" with good water and probably a RODI unit.
