I don't think they're aiptasia

Please tell me these brown things aren't aiptasia. The attached pic is the closest I can get.

They look like colonial hydroids.

Thanks for the quick reply. So they're bad The info on these is all over the place on how to get rid of them. I think they are only on the one rock. If I took it out and bleached the rock would that kill them?

You could take it out and address the problem. I would avoid bleaching the rock and have it as a last ditch effort.

I would just remove the rock and pluck them off, then scrub the area with a brush....then rinse and return the rock. See how that goes.

Thanks @mr_x for your advice. They've been plucked, scrubbed and I even put some aiptasia x on just in case. Now it's a waiting game to see if they come back or pop out somewhere else.
