I believe I saw this thing on a piece of new LR I purchased on Saturday, and it moved to the middle of the tank and hasn't moved very much( as far as I can tell the last 2 days.) But I haven't been able to move the new piece( its only 1 1/2 pounds) in the bottom right of the tank profile. I can't remember if this green substance has been there the whole time on this rock? Help needed!

No doesn't look like it. You planning on corals? Just wanted to let you know the choc star will eat them I don't know if you know or not just dont want you to be disappointed if you get some. :)

Yeah I plan on corals and nems and I know that the CCSF will eat them, I recently had a torch coral and he never touched um. But I'm going to find him a new home when I go to corals. Anybody know what the green matter is?

All I see is Coraline algae if that's what your talking about.
