Is this chromis???

My friend bought a reed tank from craigslist.
I like this fish and want to buy from him.
I want to know if he will be ok with my 2 clownfish and a green chromis ( small).

Bit yellow on top and bottom fins are dark blue.

It looks to be a blue damsel, a very aggressive fish. But I can't quite tell due to the picture quality.

It's hard to get a picture when they keep moving. Will try better pic.
Any tips .....

Not a damsel, it's very light color, bottom fins are dark blue and bit yellow on the head.

It was sold as purple chromis, gotta let my friend know what I found.
