Is this crab safe for fish (I believe porcelein crab?)
I asked about the ID of these crabs I have in my tank. They came with live rocks from of course liverocks.com!
You can't see this detail in the picture (I don't think) but they have these large "fans" attached to their front legs that that sweep back and forth in the water to seemingly pull in stuff in the water to eat. They don't seem to use their pinchers at all, far as I can tell, and like hanging upside down under the rocks.
I was told before these were probably harmless crabs, porcelein crabs I think. But not I have a picture to assist with an ID, possibly.
