Hello just wondering what you guys think lighting would be suitable for a 29 gallon tank housing assorted polyps and mushrooms. I have a 65 watt PC half blue half white. is this enough?

Polyps and shrooms will be fine, you should actually be able to put them anywhere in the system as opposed to MH where they would have to be under a ledge or on the bottom of the tank.l

I agree...the lighting you have should be sufficient for shrooms, polyps, and many of the soft corals. A colt coral would probably do OK in there. You could always upgrade to a 2x65w if you felt you needed more light.

to upgrade you need to buy a new hood that is 2-65 watts. Coralife and Current USA both make them. A single 65 watt bulb will work for some soft corals but replace it every 6 months or the corals may suffer as the bulb loses intensity.
