Live or dead?

Ok I just put my LR in my tank the amm. level was at zero so I jumped for joy and put it in. I forgot your only suppost to put in 10 pounds at a time but its a little late now. Anyway can you tell me what this is and if its dead or alive?

It looks dead but I wouldn't discount it yet. There's always a chance it will come back. I can't help with an ID, sorry.

That was the closest I could get without it being blurry. It looks more alive than it did when I got it.

Looks kinda dead to me also, but if you're seeing changes in it then maybe not. Do a wait and see on it. I love live rock cause "it's like a box of chocolates" hehe

Its starting to turn kind of light green.
