Live rock surprise!

Was doing a lil adjusting today and I flipped a rock I had in the same position for about 8 months and discovered a lil surprise underneath it! Can anyone identify this lil guy? Bad pics I know but it's pretty small and my iPhone does only do well...

No idea either I've got those little things around mine too but not 8mo worth. Maybe some type of coral I guess
