does any one have any idea what this is ? it appeared on a piece of my living rock 3 weeks ago and is growing pretty quickly. photo not too clear but it has a pinkish yellow body , a fluorescent ring at the base of the tentacles and white tips on the clear tentacles . It also eats dry food and frozen.

looks to be a pest anemone called aiptasia you dont want them in your tank

best to kill them off with aiptasia X , or hot lemon juice

they spread fast so the faster you get them the better
 
Not sure I have had aiptasia in the tank before and this is totally different, the picture could be better I suppose but took it on my iPhone . Never had aiptasia glow under uv light and have white bubble tips on the tentacles
