mantis maybe?

ok so this is a silly noob question, but I saw this thing in my aquarium that looked like a shrimp about 5 minutes ago in one of the holes in a big piece of figi I have.....

The question is: Is there any other kind of shrimp that hitchhikes in rock and will come out while the light is on?

I tried to get the tweezers and get him out right after I saw him but I guess that piece of rock isn't as dense as I thought.

If it could be something else I am just going to leave it be.

should I get the traps out or leave it be?

good point ........ so do you make the trap with a 20oz or a 2 liter bottle?

I would trap it to find out what it is. Here is what they look like.

Thanks!..... I'll set the trap tonght. I guess that will be the only way to tell exactly what it is since I only say the tail end of it going into a hole in one of my live rocks.....

Pistols make several clicks in a row. mantis are said to not be able to do this.
