meteor shower coral

just picked up a peice of meteor shower coral. i think its an LPS but im not sure might be and SPS anyone know?

There are a couple of different corals that are referred to as "meteor shower" One is an SPS an encrusting montipora (looks like the pics you showed) and the other is a Chalice (LPS coral) The pics you posted are also sometimes referred to as sunset (true sunset montipora).

If the coral is hard to the touch I would say it is the montipora, chalice tend to be slimy and will be a little mushy to the touch.
