Moving things around, what are these?

My husband and I were moving things around/prepping for the substrate change from crush coral to sand and we found these guys!

And we found this, what is it and can I get rid of it some how? It's growing on rocks in the substrate and I don't like it.

It's not a bristle worm, that much I do know, I hate those little buggers...I think it's a pod of some sort.

Amphipods and spionid worms. Both harmless.
