Have a mystery goby...not sure what s/he might be.

Small, like a clown goby...with transparent pupple-gray skin and leopard markings on his head and back fin.

Done a little googling and I found the following clown goby variants:

yellow (standard clown goby)
Citrinis (yellow with light blue vertical lines)
green (with orange/red striping)
rusty (with lateral white stripes)
black
brown (with red face)

....and to no avail in discovering your specific type. It is a gorgeous clown goby nontheless. Congrats on the rareness. :)

i am not overy familiar with this group of fish, however it appears to be a coral croucher, and not a goby at all. They are no more gobies than mandarin gobies are. Do a little google searching for that family, and you might find your guy.

The reason why I 'assumed' he was a GOBY was b/c of the following:

double dorsal fin
fused pelvic fin which he can perch on the side of the glass (he does this rarely)
He also HOVERS...in the water column
His favourite place is to sit among the branches of a very small soft finger coral
He even has the slightly pink cheeks (just like te clown goby...the pink comes from below the skin)
