I have a 65 gal saltwater live rock tank with a 20 gallon sump. I'm sitting here watching my guys and notice the brown tentacled thing in the front corner! Attached are 3 pictures. Any ideas?

Most def aiptasia. Get some aiptasia-x, boiling lemon juice, or boiling water and shoot it directly into the thing's mouth to kill it. Don't try to rip it out, it will cause a release of spores and they will grow throughout the tank.

Ok thanks. What about these guys?

Top is a feather duster
Bottom one, not sure. Maybe a type of mushroom?

Didn't realize my duster was in the picture! I have a dozen of them on this rock in orange and one purple!
It's the mushroomish thing I can't decide if its a zooanthid?

Nope ... No mistakin, its the dreaded frickin aiptasia.... Hate that stuff.. I dont hsve in my tanks but moms and bros does..... Wish there was a permenant way of killing it ...;)

Well I got him! He decided to hang out on the wall. Before I throw it out are we positive he is the dreaded aiptasia?
