Officially Weirded Out

Oil a look in my aqurm this morning. I only have the CUC and a sand sifting starfish so far. So, what in the world is this tubular object? About an inch long and a 1/2 in in dia. I am totally funcused!!!

it could be a piece of coral skeleton or soemthing, what kind of sand did you buy?

Hi Gti. I have a layer of crushed coral on the bottom with a top layer of live sand. So, might it have come in the crushed coral bag? Thank you

I just have "live sand" in mine and I have things like that show up once and awhile.

I have found the weirdest things in my tank. We made some of our most fun discoveries before fish were put in. Things from our live sand and rock. It was fun to come up in the morning with our flashlights and search the tank before the lights came on.
