Pistol Shrimp?

Can someone confirm that this is a pistol shrimp?
About 1.5 inches in length

sorry all the shots are from the side/underneath. i hard the hardest time getting him to sit still in a good place for a picture.

thanks, it is much louder than my mantis shrimp, and about 1/2 the size...

also, i have noticed that it will run backwards when it is threatened. it will usually run the perimeter of the tank for a bit, and then settle down under a rock. but if you place the net in front of him while he is doing his laps, then he will stop and run backwards... very interesting to watch.
