Plant like growth on glass

Today I noticed that these little pants were growing all over the glass of my biocube. They're green. Would you say that it's algae? What should I do?

Do you have a picture? Sounds like hair algae to me but without a picture or better description we cant be sure.

That is a picture macro algae, caulerpa. You do have to keep an eye on it but it does help keep the nitrates down. It attaches to rocks easily but I haven't had it attach to glass.

Should I keep it? Do snails eat it?
