I love saltwater tanks! Everything comes to life literally! Is this an anemone?

Peppermint shrimp will take care of it quickly. I had the same problem. At least 6 aiptasias showed up on my live rocks. 48 hours after introducing couple of peppermint shrimps aiptasia is GONE!

Thank you all for your knowledge! Saltwater forum is so much better here than the freshwater one!! I have a peppermint shrimp and a coral frag in there right now and that's all... I have been cycling for about 2 months now... Just letting everything live and grow!

I have read that peppermint shrimp really only hunt aiptasia when theyre in groups. From what I understand, one peppermint shrimp won't really do much against aiptasia.

Mine did best in a group of 3. But this could be false, it's just wat I've read online
