Please identify???

Are they pest? Found them in the rocks that i brought from the beach. I want to know before i dip them in fresh water. Thanks a lot

They look like isopods to me. Google that and see if that is what they are. Some isopods are ok and some are pretty bad. Definitely do some research before putting them into your system. I don't want to seem like one of those "OMG thats a ______, kill it!" people but that is one that if I had any doubt which one it is I'd get rid of it.
