Hello forum... I've had my saltwater tank up and running for seven months now, and its looking awesome. However, today when I was feeding my fish I noticed this weird looking creature hiding in my rocks and I have no idea what it is. So I'm seeking the forums help to identify this strange looking thing. Sorry the pics are not that great..

Definitely a bristleworm..... 99.9% of them are harmless to your tank, and most keep them as members of the clean-up crew. You do not want to touch one with your bare hands, though..... those bristle will stick into your skin and can be quite painful.

Deff a bristle worm other than being ugly no harm i tend to feed my coral a lot and the bristle worms com completely out of the rock looking for food kinda weird

it looks like the bristle worms i have in my tank so it will be harmless. :) great for clean up crews.
