polyps on lr

OK, these are called POLYPS, right? They came on my LR, I have OTS of them.

What are they? What should I feed them?

ANy info MUCH appreciated.

I think they are Some type of sun coral. I have many of them also and have not done anyting special but do whater changes and they seem to be doing better then when then i first got them. Mine are under 265 watts of PC lighting and i have them all over the tank so i would say they do not need very intense light to be ok i have some that are in shaded areas and they seem to be doing good as well.
 
It is a Cladocora sp. tube coral. I don't believe they need fed as they will get food when you are feeding the tank. But, if you want to, maybe some mysid or blender mush would work.

I've seen mine grab brine shrimp and other specks of food. I've found that if I put a sinking shrimp pellet on the bottom until it mushes up, and then stir it briefly, the suspended particles go everywhere and land on the polyps and random other outposts where they are picked up be crabs and other crawly things.
