Purple dots

Is this just coralline on my glass? I'm afraid it might spread across the whole front and block the view soon. There is probably about 20-30 dots and growing more every day.

It looks like it. And yes it will cover the whole glass of left unattended. Many tanks, mine included have Coraline algae covering the entire back glass.
You will need a magnetic glass cleaner/scrapper combo to care for your front and side glass. I clean every couple days and scrape once every couple weeks.

I clean the glass daily because of Coraline build up , now its just a normal task daily lol
