So I have a branching hammer coral stuck in the sand and I noticed on a part of the bare skeleton there are some tubes growing close to the living coral. I decided to pull it out and make sure theres nothing hurting the coral and noticed something weird on the back. Its a small round sac looking thing (soft too, I accidently touched it) with a tube sticking off it. If you look really close it almost seems to be spikey especially at the opening of the ”tube”. It looks like some weird egg sac or something with a tubular entrance/exit. Any ideas at all??
