Something coming out of LR

I tried to get a picture but I haven't got a good one yet. I have seen them on other posts, but I don't remember if it was good or bad. I have about four of these little brown things. They kind of look like an umbrella that is inside out. If I get a decent picture then I will post.

Does it retract when something gets near it? If so, featherduster.

I looked up some pictures on the internet and it is featherduster. Thanks for the help!
