Something on my favia?

so I turned over and moved this rock with a favia on it and I found this "thing" on it. It looks like a snail kinda but I have no idea really...

Any ideas?

I poked it with a stick and its hard, like a shell. Not sure if anything is alive in it though.

that's a platygyra, but can't tell what the hitch hiker is.

Looks vaguely like a limpet bc of the hole in the middle.

Edit: or maybe a barnacle, I'm just grasping at straws here throwing out anything I can think of that has a hole in the middle.

do you see any filter feeding appendages popping out? how about when they lights are off?

No appendages, but it does look like it has two little antenna sticking out like a snail.

I can try for a better picture.... I don't think I coudl remove it if I tried, it's rock solid like a shell. I;m just concerned cause I wanted this coral to expand and that creature or thing is in the path of new growth.

Plus if it's bad I wanna catch it while I can.

that's not gonna hurt anything. even if it's a barnacle, the coral will grow around it.
