Spikey Mushroom?

Ive had this thing in my tank for a little while im assuming it came as a hitch hiker, and its been growing pretty fast, if i had to guess id say it isnt something i want just because it looks mean but anyone have an idea on what it is?

Actually, it's not bad at all. I got one on a coral and it's been great. It did grow fast til it hit about 3" disc size and stoped. Mine was ID'd as a beaded anemone.
