Want to know if it is reef safe, I think so.. going to put it in my reef tank. Getting ready to move my seahorses to a bigger tank. Do not want to loose it in the move

Leave it in the seahorse tank and observe what it eats. This is the way to tell if it's good or bad. Eating algae=good.....meaty foods=bad.

Not sure I understand that thought... My brittle star catches my myisis sometimes.... The starfish, while in my seahorse tank did not bother the corals from what I can see

A starfish that eats meat, can potentially eat coral. Meat is meat. Brittle stars don't know corals are edible. If they did, they'd be chowing down for sure.
