Cycling my tank with live sand and live rock and after two days these little caterpillar things are appearing. I have three. My Ammonia and Nitrite levels are through the roof so how he is alive I have no idea. Sorry about the poor picture he is right at the back. Any idea what he is???

Cool what do they do, how did they get in my tank and will they survive the cycle and do I want them too? etc, lol. Thanks for your help.

Good part of CUC. It may or may not survive. Seeing them in the open doesn't happen often with out food. Just don't touch them, nasty sting.
