Stuff on the glass...what is it?

What is this stuff...how do i get rid of it? I dont have any fish/crabs or anything besides sand and rock in my tank yet...what eats this stuff?

Wow does that ever look uniform. Almost reminds me of a group of Ctenophores.

Are the little nodes along the lines actually attached the way the appear or is that just trapped sediment? Like a slime trail?

Its more plant like...there's a vine type system running up, and then the little seed lookin deels on it...I had another one on the other side of my tank, but when I tried to turkey baster it out....I failed miserably, and it seems to have moved to another location on my return...any idea what it is?
