Tiny Little Crab discovered?

While cleaning my tank yesterday i found a tiny little crab in the substrate. I only have hermit crabs but this looked like a regular type crab. It was about the size of a pencil eraser. I couldnt get a picture because it burrowed back under the sand. Any idea what it might be? and where it came from lol?

There are so many types of crabs that it would be impossible to name him unless we had a pic or a detailed description. I`ll move this to appropiate forum.

I agree, and even then it may not be possible to give you an accurate ID. Most crabs are harmless while small, it's once they grow a bit and find a taste for your other inverts that they become a problem.
