Water Flea?

i like to check my tank at night so i find all of the nic-naks in my tanks and today i found what i can only decribe as a flea it is about the same size shape and even has the same looking legs as a flea. and no it's not like a dog or cat flea. so my question worry dont worry? what to do if i need to worry. oh and no way i could take a picture of it sorry.

Sounds like a copepod to me. Harmless critter that usually winds up a food source for your fish.

Oh yes ty i dont know why i didn't think of that before and i was suprised to see them casue i havnet had anythign new in for a while i thought my fish would have gotten by now.

Yep, I used to have a ton of them. All gone now.
